TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • If you are resident in NZ you must be 18 years old
  • It is Free to join or cancel your membership.
  • Tastings in the Cellar Door are free!
  • You will receive generous discounts of 10%, 15% or 20% off our regular Cellar Door prices (see Online shop) depending on the level of your membership (ie Bronze, Silver or Gold). Note that the discounts are credited to your account and applied at the end of each 12 month period (ie both discounts for the two deliveries sent to you will be subtracted on your second delivery if it is within 12 months from the first).
  • Signing up means you have agreed to make two selections of wine to be delivered to your door in the first year (this is the minimum to obtain the discounts, but you can have more deliveries if you wish at any time and still enjoy your discounts on all your selections).
  • After your first two deliveries you can remain a member with no obligations to make further purchases. You will continue to receive Newsletters with special offers only open to Members. You can then decide whether or not to make further selections any time you wish. You will remain eligible for your discounts on every purchase which will continue to be applied to every second purchase within any 12 month period.
  • It is important to note that your discount held on your account after a ‘first’ purchase in any 12 month period will be void and lost if a second selection is not made within 12 months of the first. Our discounts are generous and therefore require a minimum of two purchases in any 12 month period.
  • A Newsletter with news, available wines, and special offers for member’s selections will be sent twice a year – generally in April and October – from which you can choose if you wish with no compulsion. We will in future only ship wine to you that you have ordered through the online shop or when visiting at the Cellar Door.
  • The amount of wine shipped is set by your membership level and shipping address which suits you best (eg Bronze in NZ is 6 bottles twice p.a. and Bronze International 9 bottles twice p.a.- see online form). Your Membership level can be changed after any second purchase within 12 months.
  • If you are an existing or new subscriber to the Cellar Club you will be assigned your own account and can set your own password for this online.
  • In your own online account you can change your Membership Level but note that to do this you need to have made two selections at your existing level.
  • Under the new rules you can be absolutely specific about the wine(s) you want in your next delivery and when you want them delivered.
  • NZ members – Shipping can be arranged to any destination in New Zealand (see courier charges in Shipping), or you can choose to pick up your selections from the winery cellar door, or have it shipped to Auckland CBD free for pickup from the Fuller’s Freight Office on Pier One, Ferry Terminal Building (opposite the Cloud).
  • Overseas shipping is door-to-door and the costs are inclusive of air freight, packaging (Eco-friendly thermal packs) and all taxes, duties payable and courier charges. Current shipping rates (inclusive of all duties, taxes, packing, insurance and courier costs) with delivery times to our different destination countries, are posted on our website shipping pages.
  • Note that you are not limited to the two annual deliveries in terms of discounts. These also apply to any additional selections you might wish to make throughout the year and discounts on your account will be subtracted whenever a second selection is made at your current Membership level.
  • You will receive advance notices of new releases and priority allocations, events at the winery, private tastings, vertical tastings from the winery ‘library’, and vineyard tours with the winemaker and viticulturist.
  • You can receive advance email notification when cellar supplies of your favourite wines are running low (please book these in by checking the relevant box on the form).
  • You will receive Newsletters and Cellar Club updates with notes from the winemaker.
  • You may enjoy new releases, current releases and, if available, limited production and/or reserve wines (see the portfolio of our wines in the online shop for those available ONLY to members of the Cellar Club).

OUR CELLAR-AGED SYRAH 2010 FROM THE GREATEST WAIHEKE VINTAGE TO DATE- THE ‘100-YEAR, VINTAGE OF A LIFETIME’ EVENT’’ ON THE ISLAND. Described as 97 points (ie Champion Trophy level and ‘astonishing’ ! Although it will cellar well for a further 10 years, it is currently (November 2020) one of our top sellers and is going fast, so you need to be quick!
